Lypro Biosciences is a therapeutic development with two products in its pipeline and numerous additional product ideas, all of which leverage platform drug delivery technology.  Lypro’s proprietary nanotechnology increases the solubility and bioavailability of hydrophobic drugs and facilitates drug targeting to specific receptor(s).  In developing our technology, we have looked to the body’s natural mechanisms for transporting insoluble compounds.

Lypro’s technology is based on self-assembling, targetable, nanometer-scale bioparticles termed “NanoDisk”.  Incorporating hydrophobic bioactive agents into the stable and water-soluble NanoDisk brings increased efficacy, lower doses, and reduced incidence and severity of side.  Targeting to specific cell surface proteins establishes ND as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) parallel technology unencumbered by ADC chemistries and patent estates.

Lypro has programs underway in oncology and infectious diseases with emerging programs in vaccines and siRNA delivery.
